As a certified End of Life Doula, I offer non-medical support tailored to practical, emotional and spiritual needs. My services are person directed, centred and family led ensuring consistent care. I help empower you by simply asking questions such as – How do you want this time to feel? What is most important to you? What do you fear most?
How does a doula differ from doctors, nurses, social workers and palliative care teams?
When you or your loved ones are navigating the challenges of illness, ageing, or end of life , you will encounter many caring professionals. Doctors’s, nurses, your GP, social workers and palliative care teams are compassionate, dedicated and caring professionals and incredibly significant in your life.
As your end of life doula, my role differs. I am a non-medical, community-based companion here to walk alongside you and those close to you—before and during end of life, and after death. My focus is always on your unique journey, offering gentle guidance, comfort and a steady presence whether in care or at home. I champion your wishes and help create a space where you and your loved ones feel safe, heard and cared for, sometimes bridging the gap between you and health professionals.
**I uphold a strict code of ethics and always ask my clients to seek medical and/or legal advice from qualified professionals as needed.
